APD Equipment Updgrades and Database Analysis

The disparate jurisdictions of the City of Aurora and Arapahoe County will use JAG funds for technology improvements, equipment, and overtime for special event high visibility patrol operations. Specifically, Arapahoe County will use JAG funds to offer overtime for their deputies to conduct high visibility patrol operations at special events or increase enforcement in rising crimes. The City of Aurora will use JAG funds to purchase 4 police motorcycles to promote community safety via traffic enforcement, upgrade our mobile fingerprint scanners, and procure a contract to perform statistical analysis on the police databases.
