Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $351,935)

The City of St. Louis will use FY24 JAG funds for deputy juvenile officer overtime to monitor curfew violations for juveniles who have been adjudicated in Family Court cases. Funds will also be used to assist the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department with data analysis to help solve homicide cases. FY24 funds will also be used for the Problem Properties Program. The funds will fund attorneys who will work with property owners and when needed prosecute property owners who are not in compliance with nuisance laws.
