The Honolulu Police Department Law Enforcement, Crime Reduction Unit, Specialized Services Division, Community Affairs, Finance with the Honolulu Prosecuting Attorney's Office Reduce Crime Projects

The City and County of Honolulu will allocate the Fiscal Year 2024 local JAG award to enhance public safety through a range of initiatives. These funds will support the Honolulu Police Department's law enforcement efforts, crime reduction programs, D.A.R.E. certification, and important technology upgrades. In addition, the award will strengthen enforcement programs aimed at crime prevention and reduction. The Honolulu Prosecuting Attorney's Office will also benefit from this grant, using the funds to improve the prosecution of criminal cases through enhanced administrative support, training, and advanced technology solutions.
