Morongo Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians is proposing to finalize, implement, and enhance the Morongo Healing to Wellness Court Program. This Healing to Wellness Court allows the community’s youth to participate in treatment that incorporates the Morongo culture and tradition as a basis for changing behaviors. The Healing to Wellness steering committee members include Tribal elders, Tribal youth, court staff, Riverside County staff, behavioral health professionals, and community members. This committee will be the driving force for the implementation and ongoing assessment and improvement of the Morongo Healing to Wellness Court Program.
