The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, Judicial Services-Tribal Court, in partnership with the Peacemaker Steering Committee comprised of representatives from seven Tribal Divisions/Departments, is proposing a culturally appropriate community-based problem solving initiative in the form of a Peacemaker Court (Bemaadziiwiin) for its tribal community.
