The Center for Court Innovation seeks to help the grantees under BJA's community-based, problem-solving initiative to develop comprehensive screening and assessment instruments; cross-train diverse teams (including court personnel, prosecutors, defense attorneys, case managers and community corrections staff) on problem-solving practices; and develop strategies for community engagement.
