Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2007, $58,534)

The Asian Pacific American Legal Center of Southern California (APALC) in partnership with the Asian Law Caucus (ALC) will use grant funds to support its campaign to educate immigrant workers about new immigration laws and about their rights and responsibilities under the anti-discrimination provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Funds will be used to support salaries and benefits of project personnel, costs related to conference travel and media campaign materials, and project supplies.
