Prisoner Reentry Initiative Training and Technical Assistance Program

The Center for Effective Public Policy will continue to provide Prisoner Reentry Initiative (PRI) training and technical assistance. They will assist grantees who are uniquely positioned to provide prerelease services to offenders transitioning from institutions to the community and work collaboratively with community-based organizations providing post release services to reentering offenders. The Center for Effective Public Policy will encourage evidence-based interventions, accountability, and integrated case management in order to enhance offenders' likelihood of success. The goal of PRI is to reduce recidivism by assisting returning offenders to be law abiding citizens.
