The county of Clark will utilize its Fiscal Year 2008 JAG award in the amount of $441,565 to support multiple initiatives that encompass the law enforcement, prosecution, education, and technology improvement purpose areas. JAG funds allocated to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department will be used for a Mobile Field Reporting System that will allow officers to complete and transmit incident reports from the field via laptop computers to the department's Records Management System. The Nevada Child Seekers will use funding for personnel costs for staff assisting law enforcement personnel in missing and abducted children cases.
