Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2009, $241,196)
The Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA) will facilitate the sharing of information about program performance and evaluation among local policymakers and practitioners in order to enhance their ability to use this information to improve program planning and implementation. This will be accomplished by maintaining and enhancing the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Center for Program Evaluation and Performance Measurement, an online resource that provides general and topic-specific evaluation information; by providing information and assistance on evaluation, performance measurement, and logic model development at BJA conferences; and responding to evaluation and performance measurement-related requests for information and assistance from BJA, current BJA grantees, and BJA applicants.
