The Center for Effective Public Policies (CEPP) will manage the Center for Sex Offender Management (CSOM) Program which provides information about how to best assess, treat, and hold this population of offenders accountable in order to reduce the risk to the community and to ensure public safety while sex offenders are under community supervision and post-release. CSOM serves as the national resource to criminal justice professionals, treatment providers, victims and victim advocates, legislators, members of the general public, the media, and others working to protect the community from sex offenders. They will offer assistance through the administration of a national clearinghouse website (www.csom.org), the provision of off-site technical assistance, and the design and delivery of ad hoc technical assistance.
