National and Regional Fusion Center Training Coordination and the National Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative Efforts

The Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR) will work with the Bureau of Justice Assistance in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security; Office of the Director of National Intelligence; Office of the Program Manager, Information Sharing Environment; Federal Bureau of Investigation; and other federated partners to provide support for the national fusion center training effort and the Nationwide SAR Initiative (NSI).
They will coordinate activities for the 2010 National Fusion Center Conference, support of the enhancement and delivery of the NSI training program, continued coordination and support for the National Fusion Center Coordination Group. IIR will provide regional fusion center training and targeted technical assistance. These activities will assist with continued efforts to improve the sharing of information on a nationwide basis.
