Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2009, $300,000)
Michigan State University (MSU) will continue its training and technical assistance activities in support of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) violence and gang reduction efforts. They will conduct outreach and provide technical assistance and training to individual U.S. Attorney Office districts. MSU will support the implementation, operation, and assessment of their violent crime activities and their Comprehensive Anti-Gang and PSN initiatives. They will provide assistance on all aspects of strategic problem solving to include assessing the problem, implementing strategies, monitoring implementation, and conducting evidence-based data-driven evaluation of the impact of programs.
