National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) Expansion and Support Program

The Institute For Intergovernmental Research (IIR) will continue to provide organizational and logistical support to regional National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) training courses on behalf of the NIEM Program Management Office, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). IIR is providing support to the NIEM Project, including outreach briefing support; facilitating meeting and workshop support, tracking of action items, research, and drafting of policy issues, all in support of the NIEM Initiative, as directed; researching, developing, producing and distributing materials regarding the NIEM Project to facilitate outreach and awareness in furtherance of the project mission; and in conjunction with the NIEM project management team, BJA, and DHS, managing, maintaining, and soliciting content for the NIEM website.
