Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2012, $150,000)
The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) will support the Governors' Criminal Justice Policy Advisors Project which assists governors and their advisors in meeting criminal justice policy priorities by applying lessons from current research to promote evidence-based policy and practice. NGA Center will convene institute for all governors' criminal justice policy advisors; provide ongoing customized expert consultation and assistance to all governors' offices; and host conference calls for governors' criminal justice policy advisors.
