Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2010, $599,966)
The National District Attorneys Association (NDAA) will work in cooperation with the Bureau of Justice to support BJA grant recipients and other state and local jurisdictions in need of training and technical assistance (TTA) on mortgage fraud and problem vacant properties. Their current TTA network will assist investigators, local law enforcement, and community-based organizations in community problem solving, prevention, and investigation of mortgage fraud and problem vacant properties. NDAA will provide expert support in prosecuting mortgage fraud schemes, identifying mortgage fraud conspiracies, community prosecution, and code enforcement at the state and local level.
