Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2011, $2,700,000)
The Institute for Intergovernmental Research will provide training, technical assistance, and communication activities that support DOJ's Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative products and tools. The objectives include: training, outreach, and communication to advance adoption and implementation of Global related solutions and tools; development of standards, best practices, and policies including guidelines, templates, publications, and tools for direct use by field agencies; and coordination of Global working group activities and special assignments to ensure representation of local, state, and tribal interests are represented in development of national policy, practices, and technology solutions.
