Demonstrating Innovation in Policing Program

The Police Executive Research Forum will develop a model to reduce violent crime and improve community perceptions of police legitimacy. Through this effort, the design, implementation, and tracking of problem-based violence reduction and prevention strategies will be completed. The strategies will serve as a precursor to more effective crime prevention and as a basis for more efficient enforcement.
