Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2013, $900,000)

Under this grant award, the New York Prosecutors Training Institute (NYPTI) will capitalize on technological advances that improve and add features with an emphasis on the Prosecution Encyclopedia (PE) usability. Funding under this award will increase awareness and train prosecutors to use and contribute to the PE, create a series of training videos that users can view on demand, conduct webinars and enhance the search engine. Funds will also retain attorney staff positions, capitalize on MediaWiki Foundations advances and allow NYPTI to negotiate nominal licensing agreements with content providers. NCA/NCF
