The Wisconsin Department of Justice will utilize their Fiscal Year 2014 JAG award to fund multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement task forces; community-based treatment and court programs; diversion programs; technology improvement programs for local law enforcement; state justice systems improvement programs; the Wisconsin Statistical Analysis Center UCR/IBR program; and funding to allow for response to criminal justice needs and emergencies. The Office's mission is to build safer communities by providing support for state and local government agencies, non-profit programs and communities, conducting meaningful justice system planning, sharing data and information, and developing appropriate linkages to justice system programming in order to have a positive, long-term impact on Wisconsin's justice system while promoting the safety of its citizens.
