The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services will use 2014 PREA reallocation funds to support juvenile correctional centers in efforts to maintain compliance with PREA standards through PREA audit training for the PREA Coordinator. In addition, funds will be used to purchase necessary video monitoring technology and equipment necessary to enhance their ability to prevent, detect, and respond to sexual assault in their facilities.
