The Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet will utilize the FY14 Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Reallocation funds to support the Kentucky Department of Corrections. Funds will be utilized to implement PREA requirements to certify full compliance with national standards to prevent, detect, and respond to prison rape through completion of DOJ certified PREA audits.
