FY 2014 Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Reallocation Funds

The recipient will use the grant to combat sexual abuse in the facilities and ensure an appropriate victim-centered response when an incident is reported. The goal of the initiative is to achieve full compliance with the PREA standards. Specifically, the strategies will include: (1) Sex Crime Unit investigator training; (2) the acquisition of surveillance equipment; (3) PREA audit training; and (4) Multi-Disciplinary Response Training.
