The Massachusetts State Police (MSP) will use this funding to decrease the turn-around time for DNA analysis and meet the demand for DNA analysis. MSP will use LSS principles to identify bottlenecks in the DNA analysis process and evaluate and optimize the current case analysis process to accommodate newly implemented technologies in the unit.
