The State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety will use this funding for overtime to allow all qualified analysts in the laboratory to participate in the reconciliation audit of CODIS entries.
The laboratory will assign the maximum number of personnel to the project without reducing current casework analysis capacity. The extra hours and the extra personnel will allow audit review project to be completed in a timely manner and will result in the return of all analysts to a full casework.
