The Cook County State's Attorney's Office will employ one full-time Postconviction DNA Specialist (PDS) and two full-time Postconviction DNA Assistant State's Attorneys to work on DNA-related Postconviction cases.
The agency will review and evaluate at least 150 cases and work with the forensic lab to ensure any needed DNA tests are completed.
