For the FY19 Coverdell program, the three accredited forensic science laboratories in Kansas will share funds to purchase a new Biosample Punch Instrument, purchase GrayKey and Berla iVe software licensing renewals, provide for warranty renewal and protection plan for the IBIS BRASSTRAX Acquisition Station, and purchase a gas chromatography/mass spectrometer. The outcomes to be achieved are increased efficiency through improved quality and timeliness of forensic services, reduction of case backlog, and improved services to the Kansas criminal justice community
