The FDLE will fund overtime to be used for in-house casework, as well as outsource casework to private accredited laboratories. The funds will also support six full time temporary Forensic Technologists for case management. The FDLE will purchase updated equipment which will improve the quality of laboratory services and essential consumables for DNA testing and entry into CODIS.
