The Bureau of Justice Assistance issued an invitation for funding to assist Multnomah County in providing critically needed personal protective eyewear equipment to uniformed law enforcement officers in Multnomah County and the City of Portland, Oregon in response to a precipitous increase in criminal and gang activity in these jurisdictions during Fiscal Year 2020. Funding for this grant award is authorized under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program.
