Description
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), Public Safety Officersâ Benefits (PSOB) Office is pleased to announce that it is seeking applicants to serve as a national partner to provide survivor peer support, counseling, services, and resources to survivors of fallen law enforcement officers nationwide. This announcement furthers the Departmentâs mission by enhancing and expediting the submission, review, and processing of PSOB Death claims on behalf of thousands of survivors of Americaâs law enforcement officers who fall in the line of duty each year, and by enhancing national peer support and counseling programs to assist families of these public safety officers who have died in the line of duty.
