This program supports local jurisdictions' efforts to reduce the number of deaths and injuries of individuals with forms of dementia such as Alzheimer's disease or developmental disabilities such as autism who, due to their condition, wander from safe environments. It provides funding to law enforcement and public safety agencies to implement locative technologies to track missing individuals, and to such agencies and partnering nonprofit organizations to develop or operate programs to prevent wandering, increase individuals' safety, and facilitate rescues.

BCSO Bringing the Lost Home Project will consist of the Scent Evidence K9 Bringing the Lost Home public awareness campaign, the Scent Evidence K9 Missing Persons Response Protocol, and trained K-9.

Hudson County, NJ will: 1-initiate a comprehensive training program for law enforcement personnel so they understand how to interact with wandering individuals; and 2-expand existing tracking programs
LA Found Initiative: Los Angeles County's Approach to Reducing Injury, Wandering and Death to Individuals with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Autism and Cognitive Impairments.
SRPD's Connected Community Program will fund a mobile application to help locate at risk missing persons and fund a program staff person to provide community outreach and grow program impact.
