The Pay for Success Initiative is performance-based and outcomes-based programming that ties payment for services to reaching agreed-upon goals.
Through this opportunity, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for funding state, local, and tribal governments to enhance or implement performance-based and outcomes-based contracts with reentry, permanent supportive housing, or recovery housing providers to reduce recidivism and address the substance use disorders impacting formerly incarcerated people.
- County governments
- Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
- Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities
- State governments
BJA and The Council of State Governments Justice Center will host a webinar on May 4, 2022, at 3 p.m. ET, to provide an overview of the solicitation and share helpful information with those interested in applying for funding through the opportunity.
