Through this opportunity, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) seeks applications for funding an organization to administer a competitive microgrant program to small, rural, and tribal law enforcement agencies seeking to initiate or expand a body-worn camera program. The organization will also provide customized training and technical assistance to the micrograntees.
Eligible Applicants:
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- For-profit organizations other than small businesses
- Other
- Public and state controlled institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education) that have experience in managing and delivering training and technical assistance on complex criminal justice technology implementations at the national and local levels.
