Through this opportunity, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) seeks applications for funding to continue supporting the FY 2020 Public Safety Officers’ Benefits (PSOB) National Law Enforcement Survivor Support Program and the FY 2020 PSOB National Firefighter and First Responder Survivor Support Program. This program supports law enforcement and other public safety officers and their families through providing federal benefits for line-of-duty deaths and catastrophic injuries. This program also provides survivor peer support and counseling services and resources to survivors of fallen law enforcement officers, firefighters, and other first responders nationwide.
Eligible Applicants:
- The Concerns for Police Survivors and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation received an official invitation letter from BJA and are the only entities eligible to apply.
