With this solicitation, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) seeks to provide training and technical assistance (TTA) to state, local, territorial, and tribal law enforcement officials; intelligence analysts; prosecutors; judges; fusion center staff; and other criminal justice entities who prevent, investigate, and respond to crimes that use wireless devices.
Eligible Applicants:
- Private institutions of higher education
- Public- and state-controlled institutions of higher education
Applicants must be institutions of higher learning that provide training in computer forensics and digital investigation and that possess experience in providing TTA on a national level. In addition, applicants are required to have the capacity to deliver TTA nationally to include remote locations and underserved communities throughout the United States and its territories, as needed.
Because this solicitation focuses on providing TTA at the national level, these funds may not be used to support any state, local, territorial, or tribal jurisdiction cyber task forces or new or existing programs.
