With this solicitation, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) seeks to support state, local, and tribal law enforcement and prosecution agencies, and their community partners, to address hate crimes by establishing a coordinated hate crimes resource center.
The purpose of the resource center is to coordinate resources and research across several BJA funded hate crimes prevention and response programs. This will create one single location for communities to access the latest promising practices, research, and implementation support from across many disciplines to address hate crimes.
Eligible Applicants:
- Public- and state-controlled institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Private institutions of higher education
- For-profit organizations other than small businesses
- Small businesses
