Abstract

This solicitation overview provides grant information and resources for entities that may be interested in funding assistance from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) to receive funding to develop or operate programs that have one of the following goals: to prevent the wandering of individuals with forms of dementia or developmental disabilities; increase vulnerable individuals’ safety and facilitate rescues; or implement location tracking technologies to help find missing individuals. The overview notes eligible applicants as being: nonprofits with a 501(c)(3) status; public- and state-controlled, and private institutions of higher education; federally recognized Native American tribal governments; healthcare agencies; state or local law enforcement; tribal law enforcement; or other public safety agencies.
