The Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Training and Technical Assistance Center (PDMP TTAC) reports 2020 data and 2021 features of the New Jersey state Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP).

Abstract

The anacronym for the New Jersey PDMP is NJPMP. It is administered by the Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Consumer Affairs. The state population in 2020 was 9,294,493, and there were 52,933 DEA-registered prescribers and 2,130 DEA-registered dispensers. A total of 24 types of reports are produced by the PDMP. Funding sources for the PDMP in 2021 are controlled substance registration fees, a BJA grant, and a CDC grant. The 2020 budget amount is not provided. Four staff members are responsible for PDMP operational tasks, and one person performs technical tasks.
