This report describes the features and outcome of a project in which the Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center worked with Salt Lake County’s (Utah) Criminal Justice Advisory Council (CJAC) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of policies, programs, and practices of the county’s justice and behavioral health systems.
This report provides a set of recommendations for long-term system change, along with a set of targets to help Salt Lake County's Criminal Justice Advisory Council set short-term goals for implementing the policies and practices recommended in this report.
