As part of the Justice Reinvestment Initiative, The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center has worked with the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) to place data analysts in residence at state departments of corrections through the Resident Corrections Analyst Initiative.
The CSG Justice Center and BJA are now embarking on the next iteration of the Resident Corrections Analyst Initiative by taking it to community supervision. This new iteration of the initiative will support two county- or state-level community supervision agencies to participate in the Smart Supervision Resident Analyst (SSRA) program. SSRA will embed an experienced data analyst full-time for one year in participating agencies at no cost.
This work is funded by BJA through the FY22 Smart Supervision: Grants, Tools, and Technical Assistance to Facilitate Change program.
