The Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking applicants to serve as Program Specialists within the Public Safety Officers' Benefits (PSOB) Office. Duties include the following:
- Serve as a Benefits Specialist with primary responsibility for the outreach, follow up and administration of PSOB death, disability and education claims
- Review and process cases and work with national law enforcement and first responder groups
- Provide advice and guidance regarding benefits programs
- Analyze all submitted claim documentation in conjunction with PSOB Act and regulations
