A new blog post, "Stepping Inside the Ottawa County Recovery Court," highlights the Ottawa County Recovery Court program, which is one of approximately 320 drug court programs funded through grants from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).
This voluntary probation program is open to local residents convicted of nonviolent drug- or alcohol-related felonies. Recovery court participants take part in the minimum 18-month program, which involves drug and alcohol testing, recovery support meetings, review hearings, and relapse prevention planning.
