COSSUP Funding is Helping to Empower Change in Dayton, Ohio

With funding from a fiscal year 2020 Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Use Program (COSSUP) grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance, East End Community Services is having an impact in Dayton, Ohio.

Their Get Recovery Options Working (GROW) program is a coordinated, multidisciplinary, mobile crisis response team that includes staff from the Dayton Police Department, EMTs from the Dayton Fire Department, and a Certified Peer Supporter. GROW responds to opioid overdose calls across Dayton and connects overdose survivors and their family and friends with treatment and community outreach services, recovery support, and overdose prevention education.
