More than $333 Million Awarded to Fight Opioid Crisis


The funds support first responders whose actions can often mean the difference between life and death for those who have overdosed, as well as families, children and crime victims dealing with the impact of substance abuse. Funding was awarded under a number of programs, including the Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Programs ($163 million), the Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program ($23.8 million), and the Drug Courts Program ($83.5 million).
