The FY 2023 Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) Program application period is now open.
Administered by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the Patrick Leahy BVP Program reimburses states, units of local government, and federally recognized Indian tribes for up to 50 percent of the cost of body armor vests purchased for law enforcement officers.
All applications must be submitted online through the BVP application system by 6:00 p.m. ET on Monday, June 26, 2023.
