Led by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and The Council of State Governments Justice Center, the Zero Returns to Homelessness project aims to both inspire and equip states and communities nationwide with the tools they need to ensure that people returning from incarceration have safe and stable housing.
With support from BJA, The Council of State Governments Justice Center is offering state teams an opportunity to participate in the first Zero Returns to Homelessness Cohort.
This cohort, conducted in partnership with the Corporation for Supportive Housing, will provide up to six teams with free and extensive technical assistance support focused on solidifying long-term reentry housing plans, leveraging community leaders and resources, collaboration across state and local systems, and achieving a real, concrete expansion in the amount of housing available to people in reentry.
Applications will be accepted until 6 p.m. ET, on August 12, 2024.
