In FY 2019, BJA launched the National Center on Restorative Justice. Through a competitive process for FY 2019, BJA selected the Vermont Law School as a partner on a program that will be BJA‘s National Center on Restorative Justice. The Vermont Law School will support BJA’s efforts to improve criminal justice policy and practice by broadening the understanding of justice systems and restorative approaches for undergraduate, master’s level, and law students and justice professionals. It will also expand educational opportunities for incarcerated individuals and research how best to provide them with simultaneous access to substance abuse treatment and education.
