BJA Fiscal Year 2020 Funding Opportunities - Competitive Forensic Science Grant Programs

During this webinar, BJA and RTI International will discuss available Fiscal Year 2020 competitive forensic science funding opportunities. These solicitations/grant programs will provide states and localities with various resource tools to improve the quality of their forensic science services to meet the challenges of crime and justice and improve overall public safety.

Fiscal year 2020 will mark the first year that BJA will administer and manage these forensic science programs, which were previously managed by the National Institute of Justice. During this webinar, BJA will provide guidance and information on the following solicitations, in addition to addressing questions from the participating audience:

• Prosecuting Cold Cases Using DNA 
• Sexual Assault Forensic Evidence - Inventory, Tracking, and Reporting (SAFE-ITR) Program 
• Strengthening the Medical Examiner-Coroner System Program
