Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $2,500,000)
The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Police, the Department of Health, and the Pennsylvania Coalition to Advance Respect, proposes to utilize $2,500,000 Purpose Area 1 funds to design, launch, and implement Pennsylvania’s first automated statewide SAK tracking system. This initiative would take a multi-phased approach to reduce the number of unsubmitted and partially tested SAKs in the Commonwealth.
Funds will be used to establish a new statewide SAK tracking system using a commercial off-the-shelf system selected through a competitive solicitation process and to provide training and technical assistance support to rape crisis programs, hospitals, law enforcement, and other key stakeholders through a subaward to Pennsylvania Coalition to Advance Respect, Pennsylvania’s statewide sexual assault coalition.
