This opportunity supports funding to state, local, and tribal law enforcement and prosecution agencies for costs associated with the investigations and prosecutions of cold case murders suspected of having been racially motivated, including support for victims’ families and stakeholders impacted by these cases.
Funds are limited to address violations of civil rights statutes resulting in death that occurred no later than December 31, 1979.
